Karoutsos, is a graduate of Fordham University, New York, New York, B.A (1997) (Major in both Political Science and Economics), Dean's List, Member of Omicron Delta Epsilon the Economics Honors Society, Vice-President of the Fordham Pre-Law Society, Editor of the Journal of Philosophy, and research assistant to economics professor Nicolas V.
